Altar Servers and Youth Group

Altar servers take the place of angels in heaven who praise and glorify God continuously.

Because serving at the altar of our God is such a wonderful honour, servers are selected from among those who show a desire for a closer relationship with our Lord and God, Jesus Christ. Just as He was at Calvary and the Last Supper, our beloved Saviour is made present on the altar. As a result, servers have a grave obligation to carry out their designated responsibilities with honour and respect.

Our SSMB has Altar Servers (boys and girls) who begin after their first communion and serve for as long as we have them. We welcome all people of genuine faith. The desire to serve at the Altar of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, is all that is needed.
